I was searching for some info on a "Splendide" combination washer dryer because I saw one on a job yesterday, and came across this directory:

I'll have to look around this site a little and post it in the links section.
Anyway, the Splendide. It's very small and actually electric. Instructions said max use is 1300W and it works by creating steam then condensing it out. I still don't quite understand this. It actually consumes some water in the process of drying.

It's certainly efficient as a washer, but as a dryer I'll be interested to see how that works out. It's in an off grid vacation home.
